Default 2009 wanting to upgrade head unit to NAV unit

I'm interested in upgrading the head unit with a NAV system for long road trips, and I have the factory mic in the rear view mirror. Most head units that have BT enabled for hands free have those ugly and god awful looking mic's...

Can I possibly use the factory mic built into the mirror instead? Also, any recommendations on a good NAV system that won't break the bank.

Hey Toddman did the tpms automatically sync with the head unit or is that an upgrade? I like how it shows individual tire pressure.

It reads the info off of the diagnostic port wires under the drivers side dash if you use Maestro which I highly recommend.

I'm interested in upgrading my 2011 XLT with sync. Is this the Kenwood DNX892 you installed with the Maestro harness. More comfortable installing a Nav unit others use and had good experience with.

The Maestro Rr, comes with a OBD11 connector, thatll display the tire air pressure as well as 2 seperate gauge screens(5 gauges per screen).

You can either simply plug the connector into the OBD11 port, or cut the connector off and tap 2 wires. Just depends on your preference! I just plugged the connector into the port!
