So guys, I'm new here and new to this, but I think you guys can help me out. I have a 2009 F150 XLT and it has 4 doors (one normal pair of doors and a pair of suicide doors) and I'm trying to install a subwoofer. I have a sub and amp so far (see below). Now I need a box that fits this subwoofer. It's a pretty deep mounting depth sub and so I'm having trouble finding a box. Anybody got any suggestions for a box?? I can probably build one my self(?) but I need suggestions how/where. Also, should I look to fulfill the recommended space inside the box? I believe it's like .85 to 1.25 ft^3. I'm looking to avoid doing a seat lift if possible. Also, where's the best place to put the amp to avoid overheating and such?

8 inches mounting depth? Your going to even have a hard time getting that depth with a seat lift. Look up the mmpolk 1040 subs. 4" mounting depth. Good bang for your buck depending on what your lookig to acheive

Dang. Oh well, I was starting to think I was gonna need a different sub. Any suggestions for a sub set up that'll work with this amp???

Buy the box first. Then the sub.
