I've got an LC6i to solve that problem...but it's not really a sound processor is it? Isn't it just a line out converter? The other issue is it only accepts speaker level inputs, not the RCA's that the PAC FRD 24 outputs from the head unit. Is the LC6i what I need or am I barking up the wrong tree here.
I agree, not really a sound processor. There are no timing or equalizing functions, but at increased volume it will add gain to your bass. Both the PAC and LC6i are loc's, you really only need one of them. I would use the PAC if I had an aftermarket HU or using a true sound processor. I would use the LC6i if I was using OEM HU and no processor.

The PAC make's it nice as you don't have to do any splicing, direct plun 'n play. The LC6i will require splicing, but I used a Metra BT harness between truck wiring and HU to cut into. For the record, I used a Maxxsonics MX-1 which is similar to the L6i.

now with this adapter who knows what voltage u r getting out of them. and you are 1/2'ing it if i will be splitting it to run to a 4 channel and a mono block amp.

will it be worth it to use a line driver? i only have 1 so i can just use splitters if i want to use it for the 4 channel. i can just use one rca behind the deck to this line driver then split out the output end of the line driver.

i was thinking if its worth it, then i'll buy another 2 channel for the sub.

the reason i would use these is because i am a believer of using the MIN gain as possible. my 2006 f150 had its best tuning and settings when i was at 80 percent volume and the volume and clarity was crystal clear and i set the gains at 100% volume.

what u guys thinks?
Some amps work well with speaker level inputs, some don't. Some 4 channel amps have a line out which can feed directly into your sub amp (no loc required for the sub amp). Some amps only need 2 channel RCA's as they have a switch to match up channels 1/2 and 3/4, but you lose fade.

my 4 channel has no output rca's but my mono amp does. however i want to run a completely separate rca for the amp because i want to put a base **** in there so i can completely shut off the bass or put a tad more into it if i wanted to.

i have a 2 channel line driver laying around so i was thinking of using it but i don't want to if the PAC unit is already amplifying the rca output signal. if it is, i'm assuming its only putting out a standard of 1.3. i'd like to boost up the signal to 4 volts on the 4 channel to really put the gains on 4 channel really low.
