ive done the alpine pdx5 and stealth box and it sounded great, so you dont need insane wattage.
the f90 takes forever to load, its pisses me off..
My pioneer rep was in just the other day and said nothing of them going out of business, they laid off a bunch of people, but they still have kickass products comming out.

Im talking about the avic-f900bt with the update2.0. i just did allot of reveiws on the dnx7140 kenwood. I dont know which one i will end up with..

what amp do you recoomend.. kicker mono? mtx mono. dual mono.. 500 watts 700x1 watts? which back up cam do u reccoment as well... thanks going to be getting this this weekend... do u reccoment me installing all this or taking it to best buy or brandsmart or a local audio shop.. i have done installs in the past but its been about 10 years

I'm gonna go x2 on the Kenwood. It looks pretty good on dvd's, has the best gps hands down, and if your trying to coordinate interior led's, it ties the whole truck together :-)

I'm too lazy to look up the part number, but I think its the dnx 5120 (last year's model) and you can get it on ebay for $600ish the last time I checked.....

all the avic f's have the same long *** start up screen, its annoying as hell..
Ive never had any trouble with the bc2..
i wouldnt trust best buy to do an install..

Now that is the one annoying thing about my kenwood dnx7120 now that you mention it. It probably has a 60 second boot up time, which makes the reverse camera almost useless to me as I have to wait for the radio to boot before the camera is active and by that time I have already backed out and driven away

Well im not sure what head unit im going to end up with.

But amp wise i was told i need a 500rms 4ohm amp either x1 or bridged. with at leave 4gauge wiring.......

im not looking to spend allot of money but it looks like i might just have too...

what amp besides jl audio do you recommend in that wattage 500 watts rms x1 4ohms or 500 watt bridged at 4 ohms,,,


head unit im just going to be undecided for a while i guess,,,

Well i went with the Kenwood DNX7140.... just undecied on the rear cam i wanna get. anyone every purchase the 09 rear handle cam for the the tailgate and install the on a older model.. noteven use that cam just get the handle and go with a diffrent cam all together to fit in...


what cams have you guys have gone with i would like one that has a nice wide angle and night vision as well.... Thanks

the amp for the JL 10w3v3 stealth box will need to be 400 to 500x1 @ 4 ohms.
