I just recently purchased a 2006 F150 Ext. Cab xlt. First thing I am doing to it is putting a sound system in it, and wanted some feedback on what people are using and what is working well for them.


I am going to use two 10 inch subs, down fire style underneath the rear seat. The box I am getting has a mounting depth of 5.25 inches. I am also replacing my stock speakers.


I do not think I need a new head unit to run subs, but I could be wrong. There is an adapter for them if I am not mistaken. Hopefully some of you guys can help me out! Thanks in advance

Also, the box has .60 cubic feet of air space. Would like to see what people are running!
