Or do I need to upgrade the alternator as well as the big 3/4? Or do I just need to buy a 1 farad cap/separate battery? Also I have an aftermarket light bar I'm going to be running into the fuse holder when all this is installed I'll be using a 4 awg amp wiring kit. If I need to upgrade the alternator at all is it cheaper to just buy an aftermarket alternator pushing more amps or upgrade the stock alternator armature to a 180 or 200 amp?
Your current alternator is 10 years old if it had never been replaced. I would get a new upgraded one.

I'm planning on installing a LOC to add a subwoofer to my 07. It doesn't have a subwoofer right now. Is there already a subwoofer wire I can tap into coming off the stock HU or is it going to have to go off of the rear speakers?

I just put in a set of JL Audio C2-570x coaxial speakers in my front doors. I didn't realize the tweeters in the door were hooked up to the stock speakers. How can I hook the tweeters to the new speakers? Or do I even need to look at it since the JLs come with a 3/4" tweeter attached to the coaxial?

Having trouble finding answers to a few quick questions.

1. Is there a way to use the factory radio mounts for an aftermarket HU?
2. When hooking up the factory sub to an aftermarket HU what is the purpose of the shield wire?
3. For steering wheel controls with a compatible HU (I don't need the adapter) does anybody know if I hook to Key1 or Key 2 wire on new HU?

Thanks!
