Default Two Upgrade Separate Questions

Most of you know that I've been trying to make my 2006 Ford F-150 Modern & Better performance, my first question is the interior: I was wondering if anyone done this but I would like to buy a 2012 Ford F-150 steering wheel and make some wiring modification like everything I can use without buying new parts like radio and stuff like that. Here is what the steering wheel looks like:
I would like to rewire the volume - + on the steering wheel so it controls the radio volume but I would like to still turn it up by the radio, I would also like to rewire the
----↑----
← ok →
----↓----
& make the ↑, ↓ to change the save 1 2 3 4 5 6 channels, I don't mean to get rid of it but I mean if you touch the ↑ or ↓ then it will change from 123456 or 654321 but where I'm able to still change the channels by radio, I would also like to rewire the ←→ to change from 87.3 for example to 95.7 but still able to change by radio and ill post more later.
Here's my second question, I added a lot of horsepower to my truck but when I turn, my truck leans far to one side so Im thinking about getting a Helwig swaybar but will I half to make modifications to my suspension, I forgot to mention that I have stock suspension. The picture above is a sample

Far as I know this isn't possible unless you can access a ford computer to get into the programming and even then I'm uncertain it would work. The buttons on your current radio use only one wire that goes back to your he's unit, each button offers a different resistance and base upon that it knows which button you have pressed. The new one works much the same way and with out being able to reprogram the head unit to different buttons it won't work, not like the older vehicles where you can require and make work, takes computers now. Gay I know. Good luck

That would be a ton of work, and a significant cost. New Wheel, Airbag, Clockspring (probably a couple other parts that won't mate up). I'm sure the clockspring connectors have changed, and I'd be very careful making up your own wiring for an airbag. The 06 HU isn't designed for than many steering wheel control functions, but with a box full of relays and resistors you may be able to get this wheel to output similar signals to the original 06 steering wheel controls.

There are significantly more cost effective modifications you can make to improve your XLT. I would start by looking at the Lariat upgrades and retrofitting those.

What is a good stereo system for a 2004 F150, crew cab, new model truck? Trying to upgrade my 16 yr old sons system. The stereo is factory, 6 CD...but the speakers need to be replaced and it would be nice to have an Aux. plug for iPod and android phone. Could someone assist me? Thanks in advance

GATORB8, I am wiring a 2005 deck to 2005 sub on my 2006 KR SCREW. the factory sub harness in my 06 doesn't have a shield grounding wire (PIN 9), only 5 wires. The sub is not working and wondering if this could be the reason (perhaps amp in a PROTECTION mode?). Do you know what the SHEILD wire is for, and can it just be grounded or do I need to run a separate wire back to the factory HU?

BTW, discovered the "correct" wiring on this post: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/adding-...ry-radio-2454/

Thanks,
Nathan

You should have power at two pins (5 and 1) at the sub when the HU is on, are you getting that?
The shield just prevents interference.

Direct replacements will be 6x8s in each door.

The PIE FRD-04AUX should be the cheapest way to get you AUX.

I have 12v on 5, and 4.4v on pin 1 when HU is on.
