Default 2003 Screw Rear Door Speaker Install Issue

So, I ordered four Pioneer TS-D6802R (6x8) Speakers to install in my truck. I checked with several sites to ensure they would fit in the 03 Screw, even the pioneer site. Well, in my rear doors, they seem to be too deep in size. The magnet bottoms out on the door frame and leaves about a quarter inch gap all the way around the mounting frame. So Im kinda pissed.

Has anyone else had an issue like this and how would you fix it?

I don't know why Pioneer would advertise them fitting if they obviously do not.

You can make a spacer out of MDF.

Or return the rear speakers, get a cheap 2 channel amp to power the fronts, and leave the stock rears in for rear fill if you have to.
