2003 F150 Stereo Wiring Question
We bought my son a 2003 F150 Lariat. The guy who sold us the truck threw in a Pioneer Stereo (AVH-1400DVD) that he had not installed as of yet. I pulled the factory 6 disc AM/ FM stereo and noticed it had one multi-pin connector and an antenna connector. Do I need to buy a wiring harness adapter to connect the new stereo to the existing connector and antenna connector? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you'll need to get an aftermarket harness. Dont chop wires from the original harness because all the wire colors wont be the same as the harness with the new radio. Use one of these aftermarket harnesses. The old antena plugs into the back of the new radio so nothing is needed there. Good luck!
use this if you hav the stock premium sound system
