Default 2001 F150 King Ranch with Quad Captains, Sub Help.

I need help with ideas on how to go about putting a sub or two in my truck. I like the JL Stealth box but the price is stupid. Anyone have any build threads or any suggestions? I searched and really didn't find anything. I am looking for something stealth and out of site.

Search for the HD4mula sub box for harley trucks, we have the same rear center console your truck does.

I built one like it myself and have it loaded with a boston sub getting only 250watts rms. It fills the whole cab perfectly.

If you don't like the price on the JL box you won't like the price of this but I had this in my 03.

Expo console with 3 JL amps and a custom rear wall install.

I have same issue as you on my KR i was planning on building my own box and just throwing it under the seat, i figure that it will easily fit an 8" shallow or maybe even a 10" if im lucky, im gonna do a template out of thick cardboard take the seat out put the box in and then put the seat back and see if it works and if it does i will build one out of 1/2" MDF and it should be just a breeze. Personally, im looking for a clean install, and center console sub box idea interests me however i would rather not sacrifice storage space if i can, just incase i ever want to sell the truck.

I kept the 'guts' of my rear center console and it can be returned to stock with no modifications done at all in about an hour I would guess.

I've seen others install 6" powered bazooka tube subwoofers under the back seats on the harley truck forums, one on each side. I'm sure that's good for a lot of people but I doubt they would sound as good as my single 12" in a sealed .98cf box
