2 Boston G1's vs. 1 Alpine Type S
Called Crutchfield and they set me up with TWO Boston Acoustics G110-4 sub woofers (10inch) to go with my Alpine 500 watt sub woofer. The two Boston Acoustics cost me $220 dollars (I had a 230 dollar budget). My buddy has ONE (10inch) Alpine Type S sub woofer he got for $90 thats working with a 600 watt Walmart amp (it is a piece of s). It actually hits pretty hard. Anyways question is...will my TWO Bostons hit harder than his ONE Type S?? I know for sure that I will get more overall bass than him...but the Type S puts out 300RMS...and my two Bostons put out 200RMS each at a total of 400RMS. Anyways, please don't flame me on my setup because I didn't have some $3000 dollar budget and I am not trying to setup some obnoxiously loud setup. I know I got the best setup for my money and I talked to several Crutchfield experts about it....anyways whats your opinion?

dam...i had a rockford fostgate p3 10" truck sub and it was a piece of ****...didn't hit at all...so i sent it back to crutchfield...thats what they set me up with...just crossing my fingers it will be better than the rockford...I just can't imagine how a $90 sub can beat out $220 worth of subs....
