I'm installing a new head unit, amp and speakers in my 98 ext. cab. My amp will drive either 2 speakers at 222 watts or 4 spkrs at 80 watts. My thinking is 2 high quality spkrs in the doors at 222 watts will sound better than 4 mid quality spkrs at 80 watts. What do you think, or know from experience?

go 4, it will give your of a surround sound feeling, 2 speakers is ok in a little regular cab ranger truck, but in a xcab, go all 4. have had both, 4 is where its at
