No, I meant test the actual speaker output, like stick a jumper wire into the harness at each speaker wire from the head unit and see if it plays. If it does, you've either got wiring issues, or speaker issues (which I doubt since all 4 went out at once).

Well, if the head unit is definitely putting out the speaker signal, it must be in the wiring or the speakers, I just don't understand how all four would quit at once. If you've got a multimeter, the resistance over each of the speaker's leads (+ to -) should be around 4 ohms. Are you sure the harness is completely seating, sometimes a bent pin can keep the connector form clicking all the way in.
