Also, if you have a shop do it. Expect to pay a additional 5-600.00!

Good luck with the build!
So what is the amp you are suggesting?

I'm sorry, I forgot the link! Here you go. Sonic Electronix bench tested these and found them to be very underrated. I was skeptical because I was not familiar with the brand, but I'm very happy I gave it a shot!

Very interesting. I'm tempted but I keep hearing "you get what you pay for" when it comes to car audio. I wish there were a way to hear this and the JL back to back in the same vehicle.

I'm with you 100% as I felt the same way. Trust me, I've owned PPI Art series amps, Soundstream reference amps, old school US amps, MMats amps, and old school Orion HCCA amps so I've always had quality amplifiers. In my last truck, I used the JL amp linked below. I would buy the NVX amp I'm using now again in a heartbeat! The one thing I wish I didn't have to do is use the JL processor. This is the first vehicle where I did not change out the factory HU for a quality HU. I probably will once a dash kit becomes available, and then ditch the Fix 86.....
