mrpomer has a great point...a lot of audio experts will actually tell you to get 10" subs over 12" subs...if you need help call up crutchfield or an audio specialist store...I can almost guarantee they will tell you they prefer 10" over 12" subs...two 10" subs hit plenty hard and sound incredible...and it is pointless to have bass thats so loud you can't even hear the music...but I would definitely stick with 10" or 12" subs over 15"

yeah i got a friend whos got a single 10 that hits pretty damn hard. i guess if i get rockford fosgate t1's theyll sound good either way i go. ive got a friend with p3's and they sound pretty good. i can only imagine the step above them. (t1's). so i guess the 12's will sound good, and if i end up gettin the 15's, ill just turn em down if its too loud. i do agree that 15's are a lot more sub than anyone really needs. if i end up getting them itl be more of an "i want the big one" thing than anything else, you know? lol

well i know on google shopping theyre around 5-6k. crazy lol
i was out looking at my truck and i got another idea. what if i folded the two person part of the backseat down, and put a box there? then the one person part would be there for someone to sit if they really needed to, but i could still fit a decent sized box in too. does that sound like a good idea?

Sideways :-)
If you had the opportunity to get buckets you could fit two 12 in a custom mad center console box that could run from the dash to the back seat... Depending on what kind of amp you get (I have a 2000 watt hifonics and it glows blue when on) you could mount it on top fiberglass it or carpet it... Just make sure to backup your electrical system with a second battery like a kinteik hc600 or a shuriken 800amp battery there about the size of a quad battery and they'll keep your lights from dimming which ultimately saves your battery and alternator... Realisically when I have mine turned up I'm pulling 1600 watts and ppl kinda get pissed off at me when I'm behind them at night

yeah well buckets would be nice but i have the extended cab not the crew cab, and bucket seats arent really an option in them i dont think. theyd be some tiny little bucket seats lol
i think im just gonna fold down 2/3 of my bucket seat, which makes it 1/3 seat and 2/3 a flat metal surface. so then ill have all the room i need. still havent decided 12s or 15s completely, but either way i should have enough room.

actually just bought two Boston Acoustics 10" G110-4's today...nothing fancy by all means but they should bump pretty hard...my friend has one Alpine Type S 10" and it bumps pretty nicely for a $90 dollar sub...the Boston's have like the same specs as the Type S as well...so it should bump pretty good...anyways didn't mean to rant on about my new setup, but good luck with yours
