Default 10" kicker shallow sub anyone?

I am thinking of buying either a 10" kicker or 10" Kenwood Excelon...My cousin has the kenwood and its very loud. However, I have had kicker previously and it never did me wrong. Just curious to any reviews of the kicker. Its in a box under the rear seat. Its sealed, may get a ported one (same setup up as my cousin) because My sealed box with my P3 is just not loud enough for me.

I don't know what kind of sub box your using but with mine you don't need shallow subs. You can fit JL Audio 10w3's and even the full size Punch P3's.
Try to avoid shallow subs. If shallow worked as good as a full depth sub they would all be shallow. Example: A P2 10 still outperforms a shallow P3.

The other thing thats REALLY important is the floor clearance. If you don't have at least 1.5" your muffling the sub and loosing sound.
And don't forget power. Theres no such thing as a amp thats too big. You can always turn it down. A amp thats too small will put out distortion and eventually blow any sub.
