I am running the base stock stereo in a 08 supercrew and it badly needs a make-over. My brother works at BB and has offered to let me use his discount to purchase everything (who doesn't like saving money)

I will be doing the install myself, so I am pretty experienced in installing, just been away from the game for awhile so a bit rusty on the good stuff these days.

I have done the high end before and not looking to get back into that realm, but just want something solid for day to day use.

No sub for now. So here is what I am looking at ----

Questions are --
1. Anyone rock these speakers currently or at one point? Thoughts on them?
2. Any help on a solid 4 channel amp, even if not avail at BB? It will be mounted under one of the front seats.
3. Is the grounding issue fixed on this Pioneer head unit that has plagued some fellow forum ppl?

Any idea on the prices after a discount? Unless it's substantial, I think you can get better comps for the money.

The price difference alone would be enough to make me pick the Pioneer amp from the options in the link.

If you can save enough off of the current options, would you consider adding a single 10?
