Anyone got crazy and tried to stuff a larger speaker in their door while maintaining a stockish look?

I've been doing some measuring and think you could get an 8" in without too much trouble. anyone have pics or opinions?

it will be tough at just shy of 4" deep.

That's going to be extremely difficult. I did 6x9's and it took a lot of cutting and counter-sinking. Hats off to ya if you can do it!

luckily this particular speaker is a 6.5" which will fit. the mounting depth is the main question. 4" is alot of depth. (thats what she said?)
