Default Work Truck

Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a 1995 F150 xlt w/ the 5.0 V8. The truck has alot of new parts but has been sitting for a while as well, so every couple days im finding the truck is a little different in the two weeks Ive had it iv done my serpentine belt, batterie, oil pan, powersteering return line, thouroughly gone over fuses and bulbs, and so far tracked down a couple of potential shorts. I came here today to help find out why my running lights dont work but i believe I found the answer in one of the disscussion boards. Anyway thanks for being here youve already helped hopefully ill have some help to pass along mysel;f at some point.

currently im trying to remove my headlight switch to check the connector out when i turn on my parking lights it blows the fuse and my dash and running light dont work

So you keep blowing fuses?? Check the wires to make sure that none of them are exposed to any part of the truck. That will usually blow fuses and continue to do it.

I found out why all these fuses blow on the trucks. Studies have found that there is a new "element" in electricity. There are neutrons, Protons and electrons... Well now there is a Homotron....Thats a gay electron that goes around blowing fuses...
