what transmission do i have?
new to the forum deal and i need some help. my first question is how can i tell what transmission i have on my 1984 f150. thanks for any help.

look on the inside of the driver side door jamb... there should be a white sticker with black letters that says your vin number, tire size, etc.... look for a trans code

i think the options for that auto truck is... a C5 or a C6.... a c6 has a 17bolt pan... i dont recall what the C5 has
