New to forum. U.S. Army (Ret) Clarksville, TN. Manager, Logistic Supply. Found forum upon checking out info in ref to having Plugs changed. 04 F150, Lariat, 5.4L. Sure glad the info mentioned that the plugs should last approx. 100K; based on the price to have done. Love Fords! Dad always had F.O.R.D.S. However, with todays price's and such and all the stuff the MFG puts on trucks now; would be nice if trucks were trucks like they used to be. I have mine serviced at the dealer. I have had excellent service, even with price's being a bit high at times. I wouldn't by a brand new one, as the older one's just need some TLC and they will purr. Glad to be apart of Yall now and thanks to everyone in advanced for all the great tech notes! P.S. Wish Ford Co wound fix this problem and like a lot of Companies not charge high price's to loyal customers. I think Ford could still do quality work for a lot better fair price!! While still making profit. Anyhow, it is what it is. I do a lot myself, but, some things are just better left to the mechs that have the correct equipment.
Thank you for your service!!! lots of retired military on here.
