I live in Deep South Texas, and I'm 30 years a fireman.
Lieutenant of a Fire/Rescue Squad.

I've also been a mechanic, worked for an airline, retail sales (RadioShack), fork-lift driver, computers (all aspects, from design, fab, sales, service).

I try to do all my own work on my vehicles, but the newer cars are getting far too computerized, requiering specialized ($$ ) equipment.
the days of having a 1/2" and 3/8" wrench be enough are long long gone.

Live on six acre farm, love the country life...

a tag-line from another forum says it all...
"Living poor on the farm beats living rich in the city"

^We have a condo in Ocean City.
I'm Tim and I run the social media and websites for Karl Klement Ford.
I also own a parts store called OEM Part Haus that has become so self-sufficient that it doesn't need me anymore.
I'm in Texas.

Default former AH-64D Apache(LONGBOW) crewchief.

I'm a disabled combat vet who is still waiting on medical retirement from the Army, and VA disability. Was in the sandbox 2009-2010. PTSD and TBI. I have 10 1/2 acres in central Vermont. My 2002 F-150 is a farm truck, go get feed, hay, lumber, etc. We are going up to northern Vermont on next Thursday, 4 Sept. to pick up two more sheep for our herd. Will pull a 5x8 closed trailer up and back about 4 1/2 hours all together.
