When this thread was first posted, I was a civil engineer. A year and a half ago I resigned and came home to take care of the kids and return to school. Working on a double Grad degree in education and math. Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

i am an "on the sidelines" real estate developer, from Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles. Spend a couple months in the mountains in Teton Valley, Id, 30 min from Jackson Hole,Wy. Nice that work is slow

I am a product engineer at a tier 1 supplier for all of the big 3 as well as many other auto manufacturers. We design and manufacture steering systems. Steering columns, i-shafts, integral gears, hydraulic and electric rack power steering.

As my nickname implies, I am the Senior Satellite Operations Center Watch Captain. We fly lots of government telecommunications satellites. almost all are geo-synch birds.
