What does everyone do for a living? Where do you live?

I bought a 2006 f250 with the famous 6.0. I guess I need to reframe my comment. I really did like the truck drove good and looked good. Just had a lot of problems out of the motor and the dealer really was a problem. Had it in the shop for about a year, drove it maybe 3 months of that year. Spent a lot of money on something that wasn't my fault. But like I said I did like the truck just not the motor. And I have always owned ford and one bad one out of the 15 I have owned, I like those odds.

I agree with it being bullet proof and running forever. But me paying $62,000 for it and putting another $12,000 no way. My dad has one and it has been great since he had it fixed. But I do agree they can be made bullet proof.

Bullet proof is about $3k if you do it yourself,$5-$6k for a shop. But I agree, they shouldn't need it. Emissions is to blame

Software developer for an automotive assembler and sequencer, living in Auburn Hills MI, sort-of-home to Chrysler (technically they moved headquarters to the Netherlands after the Fiat merger).
