Default Sold Chevys for 12 years. Now a Ford man.

As the title says, I'm now a Ford guy. I left the car business a year and a half ago. I sold GMC, Chev, Buick for 12 years.

I recently decided to trade my 2011 Avalanche and ordered a new F-150 with the 3.5. in magnetic. I also just bought a used 2012 Focus for a 2nd family vehicle.

Total MSRP with options $58,980 plus I added the interior light kit, folding tonneau cover, powder coated rails, and hood deflector. I plan on tinting the rear lenses and swapping the badging to black.

Reasons for going with the F-150.

- 3.5 power for towing our camper without going to a 3/4 tonne.

- interior design, rear seat room

- exterior design

- time for a change, something different. No Avalanche option any more.

That is cool, that you qualify or qualified for employee discount from GM and went with Ford says something. Maybe it was time to try something different too!

My wife qualified for the employee discount ( x plan) with Ford and GM. And I still got 0% financing. With the trade we got a great payment. I'll miss the Av but I'm looking forward to my new F-150. I love the way they look.
