Default The Right Truck?

I spend 6-8 weeks a year delivering copies of my book to hotels in Western North Carolina, and I need a work horse for the job... The other 10 months I just need good 4X4 transportation. I want a Ford but I'm not crazy about the low mpg of the F150... Any advice would be welcomed... Thanks!

You looking for something fancy like a FX4 or more basic like a XL?

I'm on a budget so I like the XL with a cap (and a 5.0 V8).

Good luck on truck-hunting, and welcome to the boards!

I've seen nice 09-12 used F150 STX's go for under 20K. They have pretty much what a XLT has but with rubber floors and some minor cosmetic stuff.

Good Luck with the search! Let us now what you end up getting!
