SO... I just got this truck for what I felt was a bargain to have something to toy around with.
1989 F-150 2x4, 4.9, 5-speed. No idea how many miles, but the engine's been recently rebuilt and runs good... (within the first 200 miles of owning it though, I had to replace the distributer (crank pos sensor died) and then the fuel pump (an intermittent issue, but that seems to have fixed it.)

So now I need to start on the dash. See none of the gauges work (except the speedo) ... not sure if I want to try to get the original stuff working, or to just rip it out and put in something custom. (right now i use a post-it note with the mileage from last fill-up in place of a fuel gauge .
I signed in here to look around and get some ideas...
