My name is Brian, and I just bought my first F150. It's a red, 1993 XLT with the 4.9L I6 and the 4 speed heavy duty tranny (pic below). She's a sweet ride. Great shape with low miles. I'm pretty excited to finally have a truck.
I joined the forum to get advice on repair and upkeep. This is a truck I'd like to put the time/money into keeping around for a long while. So, finding places for parts, troubleshooting, etc. are all things I hope to find here from people with lots of experience with these vehicles.
I am having a couple of issues right now, nothing major, but I'll save that for a more appropriate section of the forum. Thanks in advance for all the help.
Congrats and welcome aboard! I hope those minor issues aren't ruining your overall enjoyment of the truck. There's so many knowledgeable people on this forum. You shouldn't have any problems finding answers. Give us details and photos when you can.
