Hey, everyone!

I'm going to be out of the office for a couple weeks, but my pal, Rebecca, will be filling in for me.

Don't hesitate to give her a shout if you have any questions.

Hi, everyone!

I will be out of the office on Monday, September 1st, in observance of Labor Day. I'll be back on Tuesday, September 2nd, to check on PMs and to see what kind of antics you got up to while I was gone.

Enjoy the long weekend!

Crystal

ok I am so done!
problems I see with this:
1) ford is handing me back a truck they know will break down again
2) not safe for me and family to use
3) ford has just opened themselves up to a huge liability!!! with knowledge of a issue, telling customer to drive until it breaks down again!
hypothetically... what if I was in a bad area of town when this happens and I am mugged while waiting for a tow?? not likely, but what if?
4) Ford is doing there R&D on my time and dime! bad business
5) I have now used a accumulated 8 hours of pto time at work because of this truck, that equals 1 full day I will not have to spend on vacation with family! does not count the 20 some hours on phone and being at dealer when not during work day!

Feel for your problems man as I have been tracking it since first posted but re: item 3) why not carry? Both states that I live in are open carry states as well as I have a CCW. Unless you are in one of those damn liberal states or DC, I would urge you to carry.

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you all in on a big shift before I jumped into my PM box for the day.

For those of you who don't know me (which is probably most of you), my name's Brittany! I've been a part of the Ford Social Media team for awhile, and have spent a lot of my time assisting Kwasi over on the Canadian side of things, on Twitter, Facebook, and forums, including this one. My colleague Nikki, who is lovely, will soon be taking my place once she returns from holiday tomorrow.

That being said, I'll be taking over for Crystal on the forum starting today. I know how much you all enjoyed her being here and all of the magic she was able to do for y'all. I promise I'll be doing all I can to follow in her footsteps! It's truly a pleasure to meet you all, and I'll be spending the next few days catching up on PMs and reaching out on some threads.

If any of you have any questions, my inbox will always be open.

EDIT: Just so y'all know, my hours of operation here on the forum are Monday - Friday, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm.
Thanks again!

Default 24 hour roadside assist

I'm curious as to what happens if I break down in a remote area. I'm planning a trip to Alaska pulling a camper and want to know how a problem would be handled in the middle of nowhere.
