Northern CO new guy
Hi fellow Ford guys and gals
I am a proud owner of a 97 F-150 ext cab lariat, 4x4, 5.4L, 162K. I have owned it since 2002 . I have moved many times since i bought it and it has been a part of the family the whole way. In fact my daughter spent the first year of her life riding backwards the middle of the extended cab. Before she arrived the pickup was a used for hauling boats, wife, hunting buddies, and drunk friends across MN, ND, and SD
My first F-150 was a 1994 reg cab, long box, 2wd, inline 6 with a 5 speed. It had a cool Bright blue metalic Northland Edition paint job. For a 2wd it did the job. The most usefull option on this was the block heater that one plugs in during the winter. One time i was so broke i had to park it on a hill at night and charge the battery during the day until i could afford a rebuilt alt.
Thanks to all of the people on here that have posted so much usefull info,
adam
