Hello all. I'm brand new here. I have been living in Des Moines for just under a year. Originally from Southern Illinois. I work for the VA Hospital. Just picked up a 1998 F150 XLT Supercab 4x4 for virtually nothing, almost given to me due to one major issue. Head Gasket leak. ��. It runs and drives though. I did use "Bar's Head Gasket Fix". I know... I know... I'll probably catch some flack for that. But, it seems to have fixed it so far. So far so good. I'm not expecting it to last forever. Just wanted a quick fix before forking out the �������� big bucks on a new engine. The only other things I can see it needs is a new windshield and new tire soon. But, for the price I'm happy. I think the truck may be lifted a couple inches but don't know how to tell for sure. Looking forward to reading everyone's posts and gaining knowledge here. ⛽️
