Default newbie intro, convert

So after being a lifelong G.M guy, I needed a work truck, nothing special something the usual construction worker would use V-8 and absolutely no monthly payments, so I settled on the 80's, and was surprised at how expensive anything from Gm was, Then I came across an ad for a 1987 f150 lariat 302 c6 trans, little rust for 1500 obo, jumped on it for 1200 needed a new steering coupling bushing and alignment, and she runs like a champ. Then I ribbed my friend who had bought 84 scottsdale for 3500 in much ratty condition than my ford. So having never worked on a blue oval, I'm gonna be here asking a lot of newbie ?'s, so thanks in advance! And this is one great site.

appreciate it,

wade
