Just joined the site I have been reading some of the posts this week and decided to join. I own a 2012 F150 4X4 with a 5.0L and I am up here in Windsor Ontario. It is a great truck but now I am kicking myself for not getting the nav package. I was looking to add a Garmin GPS with a back up camera and then the more I looked I found that you can add an in-dash nav unit and still have a clean OEM look. Just looking to see if anyone has done an after-market navigation install and how did it work, I still want to keep the original Sync controls. I was really interested in the Rosen unit but I am not sure how well it works.

Welcome.
I can understand your wanting a "clean oem" look, but a portable, higher end garmin will give you much more "bang" for a lot less $$$.

Welcome to the forum Marty. I agree with tiresmoke. My handheld Garmin works as good as the nav in my Platinum, and it has free lifetime updates. Cost me less than 100 bucks at Wally World.
