Default Newb from MS

Well getting a 2011 F150 supercab 3.7L delivered to me today. These are the vehicles I had up to the F150 in the recent past.

2004 Neon SRT semi built to 440whp on pump
To
2010 VW golf TDI due to new job I needed MPG.
To
2011 Mustang v6 - VW had issues so got this.
To
2012 Mustang GT - Just wanted the GT and wanted to supercharge it
To
2011 F150 - Decided to not mod the GT and have another project car. Getting married in a year or so and eventually a family. I figured better off with the truck although I already am missing my GT very much.

I have mods to sell from the GT so will do that elsewhere, but since I have a SCT I thought about keeping it for the F150. Although not sure yet...havent researched it...but I know with the mustangs ford could still find out if you had flashed the computer. Is that the same with the F150's? I would assume so, but havent done enough research to find out if the F150 3.7L's are having any issues resulting in visits to the dealership? If the truck doesnt have issues like the ecoboost guys are having(from little I have read) then I'll keep the programmer and flash the truck probably with an intake.

Plans for the F150 are not a whole bunch. I do plan on adding some side steps since mine doesnt come with them, bed liner of some sort, intake, HIDs possibly(probably change out dome lights, etc as well), ??

I know mine comes with 3.73's in the rear...how good are the trannys on these trucks? I dont plan on pulling anything(maybe a pair of jetskis), but since I have never owned a truck before is a tranny cooler needed? What about an oil cooler?

Thanks for all the welcomes! Lots of information on these forums and will continue doing research. I received my truck later yesterday evening so was too dark for pictures. Its weird the 5.0 f150 they let me take home was getting better mpg city wise than the 3.7 in my truck I dont know what the gear ratio was on the 5.0(3.55?), but mine is 3.73. Mine in city is getting 15 and the 5.0 was getting 16...not much difference and neither are broken in at all so know that will change.
