New from the Washington DC area and currently shopping
Figured I should make an account, do some research, and introduce myself!
So, hi. I live just outside DC in Virginia and am hoping to be a happy Ford owner here shortly. I'm currently driving a 2005 Yukon Denali, which is a fantastic truck when it's not catastrophically leaking various things. It's only been in my hands for a year, but it's nickel-and-dimed me to death and still needs (significant) work to be reliable for long hauls. I mostly use it to tow a car, so figured an F-150 would be a good replacement.
I'll post in the 12th-gen forum to figure out more of what I want, but all signs point to an 11-14 FX4 being "the droid" for me.
Anyway, everyone loves pix so here's what I'll be trying to sell:
This is what I pull with it:
And this is what I take to work, because it gets double the MPG of the Denali and the roof comes off:
So, hopefully I can find a truck here soon and rid myself of this GMC. Until then, I'm hoping to learn a lot so I don't end up with another moneypit!
