Default new (used) owner, 01 F-150 CNG, southern CA

hello all, I just picked up a new (to me) 2001 2wd F-150 CNG w' the 7700 package

this one was done up right by the previous owner - new paint, lifted, key less entry, sprayed bed, tow package, snug top bed cover, aftermarket 7-lug rims...it's awesome

With the CNG setup (OEM too!) I fill up at $1.935/gallon (that's right...<$2/gallon) and I can use the carpool lane by myself to battle some of this awful socal traffic

it came with 35" Procomp Xtreme A/T tires:

but they were just too loud to commute on the freeway, and it wasn't re-geared for it, so even with the 5.4, it was a dog

I switched to smaller 265/70/16 BG Goodrich rugged trail tires and the truck is quieter than a dead kitten

Welcome, Vor! Ye did good, ye did good. LP gas, eh? Wonder how that'll do on a road trip? Finding gas I mean. You know, I've read many posts about people saying the 5.4 is a "dog", but I never thought so until yesterday driving through terrible Atlanta traffic! For the first time, I was thinking, yep, me old 5.4 is growling a bit trying to do what I needed to get out of traffic. I like me truck, but now I see wha' all the Ecoboost power is about!
