New to site
Hey Guys
Don’t need to say new to the site I guess. LOL My wife and I bought our 17 year old son for graduation from High school an 87 4x4 long wheel base with a 9” over all lift between body and suspension. We put 35” Buck Shots on it. The truck looks really nice but was neglected for a while from the way it looks under the hood. I have not turned a wrench in over 20 years. So this is like starting over to me and the first time for my son. We started out with replacing the flywheel. It was chewed up pretty bad. Anyway no problem getting trany out and new flywheel on. Downhill from there, LOLl one junked trany case and a rebuilt one in. Note to self trany must fit allthe way up to engine block before tightening the bolts. LOL We got it all back together and running. Still needs work, emissions are gone so all kinds of vacuum lines capped. Anyway that is what brought me here. I will be looking for help for sure.
Oh by the way my truck is a 97 F250 4x4 4door Power Stroke, guess that’s where my son gets it.
