Default New member in WI

Just picked up a '14 XLT this week and I'm looking forward to learning more about the truck here. It's a crew cab, short bed with Ecoboost, HIDs, leather and 3.31 electric locker. Mostly got it for my wife who will be pulling a horse trailer.

In the near future I'm going to be researching a Bakflip- type tonneau cover, floor mats, mud guards, and if towing in the first 1000 miles will void the warranty. :-)

Also that just right door check thing sounds cool.

My wife thinks we need to come up with a saddle rack that attaches to the folded-up rear seat. Anybody make that already?

Welcome Dave, I heard its one new powerful new F150 around. Which Bakflip cover are you getting? I saw them on 4 Wheel Online can save at least $100.

I'm looking at the Bakflip G2 vs. the Foldacover G4 Elite. I like the better security of the Foldacover, and the way they manage water by keeping it out above the bed rails. BUT, I really like the way the Bakflip can fold totally up against the back window. It would allow me to haul a motorcycle or atv without taking off the cover.
