Hello Everybody,
A quick introduction. I am a Mechanical Engineer, and I stumbled on this site while looking for information about the current troubles with the new F150s and Ecoboost engines specifically.
My dad has a new 2011 Ecoboost Supercrew with the 6.5' box. It sounds like he is having about every problem that these trucks can have. Low speed vibration. High speed shuddering/hesitation, poor gas mileage, AdvanceTrac errors putting the truck into safe mode, ect. I saw that there were discussions on this site about some of the issues and I figured I would contribute what I can, and see if we could get Ford to stand behind their product.
Ford has essentially told my dad that it is "normal" and they aren't going to fix anything. Needless to say he is very upset.
Anyway, I am going to contribute where I can.
