New member in TX

What's up, guys? I've been registered on this site for a few weeks now, but just now getting to posting this. I'm the proud RE-owner of a '97 XLT SCab 4x4 with 250,000+ miles. I sold this truck to my Dad back in '10. He didn't really want the 4wd, but he loved the truck, and talked me into selling it to him. Well, he bought a '13 F-150 2wd this past spring, so I bought the '97 back, and realized how much I missed this truck. I've been in the mood to start doing some mods to the truck, and during my online searches, this site popped on Google. Been reading various posts here, and got the feeling there's some cool folks here. I especially get a kick reading in the "engine builder's thread" in the 97-03 section. Yall are some crazy *******s. I also own 2 sn95 Mustangs, and have been playing with them for the last couple of years. I'm in mid-build on one of them, waiting for some machine work and parts. so I'm hoping to get a little time to spend on my truck. I live in the San Antonio area (GO SPURS GO), and am interested in meeting up with some other 4x4 owners around here for a meet or other events. Most of my Stang buddies down here don't mess with trucks much, so I gotta find a whole new network of friends for my truck interests.
