I just signed up as a supporting member on this forum. I've owned 4 F-150's since 1997. The first was a 1997 F-150 extended cab 5.4L, second 2004 F-150 extended cab 5.4L, third 2009 F-150 extended cab 5.4L, forth and the one I currently own is a 2012 F-150 super crew cab 3.5L Ecoboost. I was happy with all my prior F-150's, but am most impressed with my current one due to the amazing power of the Ecoboost. My F-150 is all stock except for an Edge Evolution CTS programmer. The Edge programmer really wakes up the Ecoboost and unlocks some hidden power. I've had the Edge programmer on my truck for 2 years and have had no issues with it, nor any issues with the truck itself. I use my truck to tow a 34', 8000 pound travel trailer. The truck has power to spare while towing. I added Timbren rubber springs to take some of the weight of the leaf springs when the camper is hitched, and swapped out the factory p-metric tires for load range E tires to improve handling while towing. I hope to learn new things on this forum as well share some knowledge about F-150's I have accumulated through research and experience.
