Default New-"ish" F150 owner in Calgary, Alberta Canada

I went from a 2007 Tundra SR5 8' Box extended cab to this 2016 Lariat SCREW Ecoboost with the 6.5' box. So far it's been pretty good. With the caveat that my Tundra was almost ten years old and was by relative comparison "base model", this Lariat is better in almost every way. I'm hoping the reliability holds up. A few people that know me, (and some that don't) have commented about my switch from a Tundra to an F150. (With surprise). But, I previously had a 1987 Ranger (as base as can be) and a 1998 F150, and both had been extremely reliable and low cost to maintain. I hope I have the same experience with this new truck. Cheers.

Similar experience here. I went from an 05 tundra mid range model sr5/trd to a 14 f150 fx4 fully loaded. Lots of people surprised I went from Toyota to ford.

Its like i went from the stone age to the future with this truck. Its still blowing my mind how much technology is in it.
