New Guy in NJ
Hey everyone,
I don't (yet) have an F150, but I've always wanted one. I'm married with 3 kids and the minivan is goin on 10 years old now, so we're starting to look at vehicles more seriously. My son & I test drove one about a year ago. It had the ecoboost and we really liked it. We don't plan to tow stuff or heavy work. We just "want" a truck as our next people hauler.
Can't afford new, so we're looking at 4 door f150s in the 09-14 area.
{Love the red ones with the black grills} I did some searching and there seems to be a lot of contradictory posts regarding the eb motors so It'll take some time to fish through it all.
Is there any serious issues I should be aware of when shopping?
My last ford product was a 3.0L Taurus SHO+ which I loved, but was persnickety when it came to maintenance. It drove like a bat outa hell though, and I loved it till the day she went home with another owner.
