Default New guy from NE Texas

Been lurking for a few months now trying to gather info on the EcoBoost, but guess I never made a thread. I'm definitely no newb to forums or the truck scene, but am a Ford newb. I've been die hard GM since I could drive, but their lack of build quality and being a generation behind with their technology compares to the competition made me switch to the blue oval brand. After fighting for a few months trying to get the best deal I could I finally decided on an Oxford White '13 FX4 EB SCREW FX4 and should be picking it up on Friday. I just hope I can leave this one alone enough to keep the warranty in tact...

Oh yeah, just thought I would throw in a pic of the truck I sold to get into an F-150. Definitely hated to let this one go, but I wanted some of the features the F-150 had that GM just did not offer in their trucks....

Thanks guys, quite a few of the guys on the GM forum I am on have made the switch as well and have said the same. Now I just hope the condensation problem doesn't affect me and we will be in business!

Picked up the new truck yesterday! I've put about 50 miles on it so far and don't have a complaint yet! Plenty of power when you mash the skinny pedal and a gas sipper when crusing. Now it's time to get home so I can clean her up and start making her mine...

Congrats on the new truck. No guarantee you won't get the issues people are experiencing but the EB is a great engine. Lots of torque!
