New guy here just saying hello!
So you see.....
I'm 17 years old from Fort Worth, Texas. name is Jason.
After never thinking of wanting to own/get a 4x4 truck, the first time of mudding in my little '98 v6 2wd f150 changed my mind. It was great for getting to work, to school, the store, the pond, you know the usual. Til i had to get towed out by a friends '05 f150 4x4. And i thought dang, that thing is nice. So that was my mission, to get the new body style for myself. Sold my truck that following week and scoped out a lower price 2005 F150 4x4, 5.4L V8
Of course you get what you pay for, I knew it had problems on the test drive both mechanically and cosmetically, but it was for a decent price, and I have a summer to fix it and could use the knowledge. My truck sits in a body shop as I type, needing a new fender, a right rear extended cab door, and a few other things quite minor. The fun part is going to be replacing that 4r75w Transmission
It's got much work to do but will definitely be one to remember. Hope I can get some good advice on this forum in the future.

I would love to help. I mean I can help you get lights and all other kinds of cool stuff, but when it comes to getting it running and KEEPING it running, you might as well ask me to perform heart surgery... Good luck and get posting. Everyone will at least TRY to help!
