Hey all, I just bought a 1990 Ford F150 Custom 5.0L (automatic :p). I am not new to forums, which is why I immediately joined the forum after picking up my new ride. I'm new to trucks (new to anything that isn't a motorcycle haha) and can't wait to get started on repairs, mods, etc.

I am also new. I recently purchased a 2008 Lariat f150. I had a minor problem with and and started searching. I ended up here. So I figured why not. Hope to learn alot about my truck. I'm not that new to F150s but I am new to the newer model, especialy the Lariat.

Default hello new guy I am new too

hello everybody I am completely new to any kind of Forums . The reason I joined this one is because I was replacing my 97 f150 step sides factory speakers. I didn't know which was my positive and negative wires . So I did a web search that brought me here and it turned out to be quite helpful on two of the speakers . however when I started hooking up left rear speakers it appears that maybe the factory or somebody had made a mistake with wiring . the color that it claimed was the positive was actually the same color that was claimed as a negative wire on a front speaker . well to make a long story short later I read down a little further on the forum that assisted me and the guy said he believes the factory had messed up too and he was claiming the same problem. so I wanted to comment on his forum however the only way that I could comment was to join so I thought what the heck this may be very useful . Whelp that's my story this is my first ford truck I have always liked this body style so I bought one and so far knock on wood no problems. and right now my inside is all tore out because I'm installing the new auto equipment that hasn't went nearly as quick as hoped but that's a different story but anyhow it is driving me crazy to see it like this thanks for reading. now what to do next
