Thanks for the welcomes everyone !!
@nobman i thought that it was a little strange too and looking at the pedals is an awesome idea! none of the other seats look bad at all just the drivers. Im even tempted to ask if the dealer can see if it was a heavy set guy just to be sure!
@drgeo i read the sticky already i try to be a somewhat educated newb, key word is try lol and if the spark plugs dont work for negotiation i at least have a good mechanic that has experience with them and is willing to do it with me so i can learn too!
i thought i was so prepared to go look at it with my list of questions and what to look at, guess i wasn't as prepared as i thought ! you guys are already such great help !

Welcome! Good to see some more motor-minded females in these parts I love this forum, because it's one of the few that don't house a bunch of leg-humping guys haha.
Like you, I too came from the tuner/rice burner world 3 years ago (Mazda P5, and yellow at that! LOL)
I love my truck, and I'll never turn back... and neither will you haha. Just be sure and do your research when you get the "mod bug", and you'll be really happy with the product.
Again, welcome, and enjoy your stay!

Welcome Bee, I agree with being a bit leery about the truck. Ask for a Carfax report since it is a dealer. I'd like to add, if you have a friend that knows anything about paint and body have them check for a repaint/body work.
Other things to look at:
All tires match, even wear throughout.
Check oil for cleanliness, no gunk or shavings should be present
During the test drive do a controlled stop, if it pulls heavy to one side have it looked at.
Look under the dash and check for things that don't look right, especially pull back the carpet and make sure the padding is not wet or mildewy.
