Default new to forum from Rhode Island

I have a 1995 F-150 with 218,000 miles on it. I am the second owner it has been in the family since new. The previous owner gave up on it at 184,000 when it needed a couple ball joints. He gave it to me I replaced the balljoints in my driveway and the radius arm bushings and have been driving it ever since, it is not my daily driver. I have decided to take it off the road for a good overhaul, the engine and driveline are not the issue.

I have taken the front axles off and the front diff housing out, I am doing the pivot bushings, left ball joints, (still original) all new brake lines and hoses, radius arm brackets and bushings, spring/shock mounts, an engine mount, both gas tanks, a pine tree air freshner, as well as converting to manual hubs. I am sure there will be other issues along the way. The truck has been good and compared to the price of a new truck, I guess a months worth of work and few cuss words it should be good a few more years.

I found this site and already have found a lot of good information.

Cool. Sounds like a good work over. Why take out the pine tree air freshener?

After fifteen years it can not suck up any more of my odors!
