New F150 owner from Texas
Just bought a 2014 F150 STX Supercab 3.7L.
I'm not new to Fords, as I'm a Mustang fanatic (even love Mustang IIs, and have a '75 Mustang II coupe, and I just traded in my 2009 Mustang GT/CS on the new truck), but other than a disastrous experience with a 1984 F150 for a project truck a few years back, all of my trucks have been GM (and one Dodge).
I'd bought the '09 Mustang as a daily driver about two months ago, but it has been a problem-child since day one, and I missed the practical aspects of owning a truck, so with the big rebates that are out there right now, I looked at Ram and Ford both, and for some reason (could be that 7000rpm redline and snappy throttle response, just sayin), the little 3.7L drew me in. Good-bye GT/CS, hello F150!
I'll have a lot of questions (I'm a frequent poster at a Mustang site and Mustang II site as well), and I may be able to answer some (I work in the parts department of a Ford dealership, could've influenced my decision to get the F150 over the Ram a little bit. ) at times as well.

Mustangs and F150s go well together. Congrats on the purchase! I've been avoiding the lots like the plague because I know I'll get sucked in by those rebates. If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up paying for yours?

Thanks for the welcome. Haven't posted much yet because most of my questions have been answered using the forum search. I now know exactly how to build an underseat storage bin that'll fit better than the Ford accessory bin or Du-Ha, that there's hidden storage behind the back seat, that the crappy gas mileage I'm getting so far (averaging 15.3, mostly highway.) will improve once it's broken in, and how to put LED lighting on my step rails.
Pretty useful forum.
$26K with all my rebates/discounts.
