New F150 Owner 2005
Hi everyone,
I was a 1993 F250 diesel owner, but because of some problems with my drive train I decided to try a F150 supercrew. It was a "need" & not a "want" truck. Found a real good deal on a 2005 supercrew with only 14,000 miles. Ran Carfax and no problems or accidents. Truck is great. It came with a bed cover(fiberglass). The bed did not even have a scratch! I am in the process of building a new home and I needed a good dependable truck and the F150 with the 5.4L is just what I needed. It pulls my trailers very well(I have 3; one 6X10 single axsle; one 6.5X16 duel axsle; and one 6X12 enclosed duel axsle.). I was not offer a lot for the 93 diesel, so my son & I will repair it for is first truck. He is 15 and would be a good project for him. I am looking to many years of service form my new F150. Hoping to get some good info on the forum. Glad to be a member

Sounds like it worked out well for you, and welcome to the site.
Plus, you stil have the diesel if you ever need it, and it is a nice and safe truck for your son, if he can afford the diesel for it, lol.

No Pain, No Pain!
Welcome to the board!
Sounds like you came out on top of the deal.
You son should have many years of use in the diesel, assuming diesel doesn't top $5 per gallon.
